Today I am headed up north the bay area. Mainly to visit one of my besties, Lauren, and have what we like to call "BestieFest." Mostly we drink LOTS of coffee and visit our friend St. Francis at the winery. Have a picnic or a late night stop at Vista Point just across the Golden Gate Bridge. Drive around listening to the best mixes. Go to La Boulange in North Beach and have giant bowl-cup sized lattes. And laugh. A lot.

This is one of my favorite holidays.

It's basically the ultimate summer day.

I can't wait to eat these today.

gettin back to the hook.

It's been quite a while since I've picked up a crochet hook.

I haven't really made anything other than something very small here and there since I finished my granny square blanket and wavey blanket last year.

I've been feeling inspired lately to get back on the crocheting wagon.

I think that granny square circles shall be my next task and I absolutely love all things crochet that come from miss dottie angel.

Perhaps I'll make a nice little pillow/cushion or a ottoman cover of some sort.
