post grad.

"...that you feel a little bit lost right now about what to do with you life, a bit rudderless and oarless and aimless but that's okay that's alright because we're all meant to be like that at twenty-four. In fact our whole generation is like that...I certainly don't have a master plan I know you think I've got it all sorted out but I haven't I worry too..."
One Day, David Nicholls

came across this in the book I'm reading the other day. it fit perfectly.
so now, I will go and enjoy the summer sun.

one year.

I found my journals from the end of last May/beginning of June one year ago. It was very interesting to look back. So much has changed, but so much is still the same. Houses have been moved out of and gathering places have changed, but we're still a family. Some friends moved away, but they're back now. Some friends graduated and some friends got married and we all celebrated together. We've all changed, we've all grown, we've all been through a lot, but we're still the same. We're a little more dispersed now, but we're still just as close and that doesn't look like it's going to change for a long, long while.
And that, makes me happy.

I'm ready to see what happens in the next 365 days.
