2011.

Yes, I do realize this post is a little late. But it's better to be late than never, right?

So I've been thinking a lot about the 'new year' and what I want to accomplish and goals for 2011. At first it ended up being just a list of things that kept growing and growing. Not really what I was trying to go for. So I rethought a few things and came up with a goal for 2011.

This year I want to really work on my blog. Make it more personal, more fitting to my personality in terms of layout/design/overall feel. I want to try to be more consistent in my posts. Start having weekly posts. Start using more pictures, lots more pictures, and better quality pictures. In addition to my blog, I also want to focus on my etsy shop. Really put more effort into doing shop updates and creating new items to share with all of you. I know that all of this is going to be quite time consuming, and it's not going to change overnight, but I'm ready to put in the hard work.

And just because pictures make everything more fun.

(How great is this? Who wouldn't want it in their house?)

gift ideas.

I tried to be my usual crafty self this last holiday season, but I was having a difficult time coming up with new things to make as gifts. There were a few things I did though and here is one of them:

I made yarn covered block letters for a few of my married friends to hang up in there house. I actually really loved how they turned out. And they were really fun to make which was an added bonus. I'm already planning on making more.
