gift ideas.

I tried to be my usual crafty self this last holiday season, but I was having a difficult time coming up with new things to make as gifts. There were a few things I did though and here is one of them:

I made yarn covered block letters for a few of my married friends to hang up in there house. I actually really loved how they turned out. And they were really fun to make which was an added bonus. I'm already planning on making more.

treasures.

This is one of the most treasured items I own. It was a bridesmaids gift last September fromthis lovely woman (you should seriously check out her blog, it/she's adorable).

I know, this picture is not very good and does not do it justice. It says, " She seemed to move everywhere dancing & music followed her like leaves on the wind."

I lived with Erin all throughout college and we used to drool over everything Brian Andreas. We were in love with all of it. So that made this the perfect bridesmaid gift. And all the bridesmaids got a different print, each of which described them to a tee. I love mine and I have hanging right above my desk, so everytime I sit down to craft I look up and it inspires me.

You should serisouly check out Brian Andreas. Everything he does is so unique.

on empty.

Literally, I've been driving around all week on empty because I've just been going and going and I'm always late for something. I feel like I've just been running and running lately. And I'm running behind. Whenever I get a chance to sit down and do nothing I take it, and then later I get up to realize that I haven't really accomplished anything that day. I just need to catch up with everything. My suitcase is still packed in my room from my trip to Oregon...I just feel so overwhelmed this week. Can I just have a day where I don't have to do anything and not feel bad at the end of the day when nothing was really accomplished?

I know that I've been absent from the blog world for quite some time. But I promise, I'm coming back strong, and soon. The holidays were so busy and so crazy. I felt like I was running around non-stop, and still am.

I just got back from visiting this gem, along with her husband, and some other friends in Oregon. It was a wonderful new years trip.

I was approached by the photogropher, Haleigh Rohner, to be featured in an etsy photo shoot centered around valentines day. My pinwheels will be featured along with other seller's items and I could not be more excited!
